Most common information about diseases available in this disease database are: Definition, Symptoms and Signs, Treatment, Causes, Diagnosis, Prevalence, and Complications. However, there are around 100 other facts also available and associated with the relevant diseases in the database.<\/p>\n

The disease database comes in two formats with in the same pack: a SQL script and two TAB delimited text files. The script is ready to be run on any SQL browser or tool such as MySQL query browser. The SQL script is a set of SQL INSERT commands that will automatically create and populate the necessary tables. All you need is to load the script contents on to your tool (e.g. MySQL QueryBrowser) script window and execute.<\/p>\n

The following one is the SQL script file which will create and populate two tables namely DISEASE and FACTS<\/p>\n

The following two TAB delimited text files are alternative to the SQL dump file:

Data Format<\/strong><\/p>\n

The disease database contains the list of diseases and facts about diseases as a set of SQL INSERT Command statements (SQL dump). The SQL dump is a script file and can be readily executed in a MySQL or other relational database. It creates and populates following tables and fields.<\/p>\n

Two TAB delimited text files are also available in the same pack and these are associated with the same set of tables. The text files can be imported in a database e.g. MySQL or MS Access or in Excel.<\/p>\n
